Come and experience the comfort, warmth, privacy and elegance in a specialty design Caritas Hospitals Foundation Theme Room.
Availability of the Theme Rooms is on a first come, first served basis. So please discuss opportunities to stay in the Theme Rooms with the obstetrical nursing staff upon your arrival.
These Theme Rooms were designed with a concept that is unique and enjoyably simple – design hotel-quality, resort-like rooms in an acute care hospital in an effort to comfort and allow new mothers to be pampered following the birth of their new infant. Moms who have experienced a caesarian section can also take advantage of the theme rooms 24 hours following their delivery, should a theme room be available. This experience offers new parent(s) the chance to recover in luxury and comfort, in a family-centered environment.
With the support from our corporate community, and the Grey Nuns and Misericordia Community Hospitals, we have been able to design, create and implement this concept of theme rooms in a hospital setting.
Hotels, design firms and specialty furniture stores have made it their commitment to provide top of the line furniture, bedding, linens, personal amenities and other items that will make the stay in one of the theme rooms an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

The cost to stay in a Theme Room is $125/day in total, $85 Theme Room charge and $40 Private Room charge (prices subject to change). Proceeds from the Theme Room will aid in supporting the Womens’ Health program at the two acute care sites: the Grey Nuns Community Hospital and the Misericordia Community Hospital. Revenue from this initiative supports the development of staff and patient education programs to promote Family and Patient Centered Care. Funds are also used for the purchase of equipment and materials needed to maintain the Family lounges and Patient Resource Centers in the Womens’ and Child Health Programs.
