Thank you for making a life-changing difference for families like mine
Dear friend,
My name is Courtney James. During this season of giving, I’m reaching out to you as a grateful mom and Covenant patient to thank you for your ongoing support of Covenant Foundation. Though we don’t know each other, you’ve made a life-changing difference for families like mine who rely on Covenant Health’s hospitals and continuing care sites across Alberta.
You see, in the blink of an eye, everything can change. About a year ago, I went to the hospital to give birth to my son. The delivery of my daughter three years earlier had gone perfectly, so I didn’t expect any problems.
I ended up needing an emergency C-section and when I was in the recovery room, things went downhill fast. My vitals were unstable, I was hemorrhaging — suddenly, my life was on the line.
For over six hours, Covenant’s exceptional team of experts worked tirelessly to keep me alive. I’m here today because of them – and because of your generosity.
From donating or volunteering, to taking part in events or sponsoring them, it’s supporters like you who help Covenant Foundation in its mission to transform health care.
You enable the foundation to fund state-of-the-art equipment, enhanced care environments and specialized programs to help ensure Covenant’s hospital and continuing care teams have what they need to provide the best care possible for all of us.
That’s why I’m so grateful to you, and to Covenant’s compassionate healthcare teams who are there every day for Albertans – from birth through every stage of life – in the moments when we need them the most.
So from my family to yours, and from everyone at the Covenant Foundation, we’re giving thanks to you during this season of giving.
Warmly,
Grateful mom and Covenant Foundation donor
P.S. December 31 is your last chance to make your tax-deductible donation and get a receipt so you can save come tax time. Your gift during the holiday season will help support the greatest needs at Covenant hospitals and continuing care sites for families like yours and mine. Thank you!
