Covenant Foundation is proud to support three leading Acute Care institutions in Edmonton; Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Misericordia Community Hospital, and Youville Home.Hospital-based acute inpatient care is a key aspect of Covenant Foundation's fundraising efforts. What is Acute Care?Acute Care provides necessary treatment for a disease, severe episode of illness, and recovery from major surgery, for a short period of time. Acute Care facilities include but are not limited to, Emergency Departments Intensive Care Units, Cardiology, Coronary Care, and Neo-Natal Intensive Care. Through Covenant Foundation, you can support the Acute Care efforts at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Misericordia Community Hospital, and Youville Home. Our focus is to enable these units to expand and prosper to keep up with the growing needs of Edmonton and area, and ongoing advances in patient care. Among our fundraising efforts, Covenant Foundation raises $150,000 annually to support Acute Care at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital. |
