Carole Karbonik, Chair

Carole has been a Director with Covenant Foundation since October 2016 and attributes her motivation to her work with the Foundation to her dad who spent many hours as a patient in several Covenant facilities before he passed away.  The care and compassion that was extended to her and her family during this time has instilled a deep sense of gratitude that has inspired her to support the tremendous work of Covenant Health, Covenant Care, and Covenant Living through the Foundation. 

Carole has practiced law in Edmonton, first in private practice and for many years now, as General Counsel at Edmonton Catholic Schools.  In addition to providing legal services to the Division, she is also part of the Division’s senior management team that assists with the overall operational leadership of the Division. 

Carole is married to her best friend, Jason, and considers her most spectacular achievement ever to be that she is the mom to three amazing daughters, all of whom are a source of immeasurable joy, laughter, and love.
